Sito WebHi everyone!
It's Laura here and today I am back to share with you a fun coffee themed card and a coordinating gift card holder!
Because of the color palette, these will work great as fall themed as well as Christmas themed projects. They are easy to make and the result is really pretty! Let's start from the card. I started by doing some die cutting with the Dashing Rectangles dies. I die cut some Woodstock White cardstock and one of the papers in the Sudtirol Origins 6x6” paper pack.
I set the patterned paper aside and then created my focal point on the white rectangle panel. I did some masked stamping with images from the Cheers and the Forever Green stamp sets. I also directly stamped the word cheers on top of the images.
I then went ahead and did my coloring, chosing my palette to match the colors in the Sudtirol Origins collections. In this case I used Prismacolor pencils, but of course you can use your preferred coloring medium.
Next, I did some heat embossing with white embossing powder on black cardstock to complete my sentiment. I finished off the card with some bakers twine and a few stars that I added with the New Baby stencil and Fluffy in Old Linen.
The card is quick and easy, but the gift card holder is even quicker!
I die cut one of the papers in the Sudtirol Origins 12x12 paper pad with the beautiful Gift Card Holder die.
I then did some more masked stamping and recreated the composition with the two mugs that I have on the card. I colored them, too, and used them to decorate the gift card holder.
The Gift Card Holder set has also some additional dies. They allow you to create a nice dimensional ribbon - in this case I made it out of Woodstock white cardstock - as well as to cut a rectangular insert for your holder.
The latter has some slits where you can tuck in the gift card. The journaling cards in the ModaScrap 12x12 paper pads are the perfect size for this! So I chose one from the Sudtirol Origins collection, I die cut it, and I glued in on the inside of the holder.
And that's it for today! Don't forget to check out the video tutorial I created for you, sharing the step by step process for these coffee themed card and gift card holder! And if you haven't already, make sure to subscribe to the ModaScrap channel for more inspiration!
Thank you all so much for stopping by and have a great day!
Laura.
