Hey crafty friends,
it's April again and Easter is just around the corner.
That's why I'll show you how you can make quick Easter goodies with the punches that we all love and may even already have at home. I took the new Spring Basket punch and punched out all the pieces from kraft cardstock. For a modern look, I splashed some white acrylic paint on it using a paint brush and an old credit card.I combined embellishments in black, pink and white to go with it.
For the small tag with a funny Easter saying I used the GIANT ALPHABET and the FRIENDS stamp set. As a small golden accent I put a heart of the new GLUE RUB-ON's with some gold foil on it. Finally, I added some ribbon from my stash, a few black sprinkles here and there and a pink heart from the CHRISTMAS CHARMS.
Et voilà, the first goody is ready. In the basket you may simply put a bunny and a few small chocolate eggs. Another goody is made from the FLOWER POTTERY punch and a 1 cm wide handle, which I glued into the small flower pot.Just fill it with Easter grass, small eggs or a bunny and you have a cute gift.It is also possible to make a small gift from the RIBBON TAG punch, which is great for decorating any plate on the Easter table. Take the RIBBON TAG punch and a paper of your choice, punch out the tag and determine the center of the tag.
Then draw a fold line once to the left and right of the center at 2 cm. To make the bottom of the package, simply fold up the sides and tie at the top with a bow.Lastly, I wrapped a gift using the SPRING BASKET punch. I punched out the side pieces twice, glued them together at the ends and pulled a ribbon through.
I embellished everything with ribbon, guinea fowl feathers and floral punches like SPRING GREENERY and BRANCH No 9.
Do you like my ideas?
Happy Easter and see you next time, Mandy.
