SECRET GARDEN CALENDAR

Hello everyone!!!

New year, new calendar! And to make it I chose the paper collection "Secret Garden" which being delicate and elegant, in my opinion, is ideal to accompany us throughout the year!

To make it, first of all, I printed a calendar on an A4 sheet: on the internet I chose one developed on a single page and then I cut out the individual months.

I cut out 12 squares using "Dashing Squares" die and "Secret Garden" paper: I used the measure 8.3 x 8.3 cm, because my months measure about 6.5 x 6 cm.

First I glued on the back, the square patterned, 2 by 2, and got 6 pieces, after that I glued the months to each side. I paired the months like this: January/December, February/November, March/October, April/September, May/August and June/July, so that they are in order even once the calendar is turned over.

To make the support, I cut the following pieces of 1.5 mm Vegetable Cardstock:

- 1 pc of 20 x 8.6 cm

- 15 pcs of 20 x 1.5 cm

I took 3 pieces measuring 20 x 1.5 cm and glued them on top of each other, obtaining a kind of block 20 cm long, 1.5 cm wide and about 4.5 mm thick. I repeated the same operation with the remaining 12 pieces, again gluing them 3 by 3: in all I got 5 blocks.

At this point I covered both the 5 blocks I had just made and the 20 x 8.6 cm base with white cardstock. To complete the support, on the 20 x 8.6 cm base, I glued the 5 blocks, taking care to leave 1 mm of space between one and the other, where the months will be placed.

Once I tucked the pages with the months in the slots of the holder, I decorated in a very simple way using the "Secret Garden" Die-Cut and added the word "2024" made with the "Giant Alphabet" die.

The calendar is ready!
