Hello crafty friends,

Christmas is just around the corner and the days until December are quickly over. Therefore, it is high time to start in the Advent calendar production. This month I prepared a small upcycling project for you.

For months, four cardboard boxes lying around here, which were once packaging of storage jars. When I saw them, I immediately knew I had to save them for Christmas. I love making Advent Sunday calendars.

A nice, scaled down version for adults who no longer need to open something every day. Plus, it's faster to make them because you don't have to prepare 24 packages. But let's take a look at what I made. I took the beautiful 12x12 Paper Pack "Sweet Christmas", picked my four favorite papers and cut the paper to fit the dimensions of the package.

I chose the papers so that twice there was a cheerful pattern and twice there was a more serene background. For the lids, I punched out matching circles with the "Dashing circles", embossed them with the snowflake from the "Christmas Charms" dies, adhered the "Christmas Greenery" wreath and added the numbers 1-4 from the "Giant Alphabet". I then made the decoration of the boxes the same in pairs, so as not to make this colorful quartet even more colorful.

Twice I punched out "Big Joy", the cute little "Creative Bows" and a couple of snow stars from the "Christmas Charms" and combined them. The other two boxes have the "Ribbon Tags" as a base, which I decorated with the "Sweet Christmas die cuts", the "Mini Tassels" in "Deep Sky" and "Cherry", homemade tassels from the "Fringes" dies, little Christmas balls from the "Christmas Charms" dies, semi pearls in "Ceramic white" and ribbon from my stash.

Pheeeeew, a lot of decoration, isn't it? I hope you like my project and give it a try. Start well into the Christmas season, stay healthy and happy Christmas crafting.

Love, Mandy.
