I am here with another card with come beautiful Moda Scrap stamps and dies!
For this card, I began by stamping the floral background on watercolor paper. I used some light brown ink, and then colored the image in with watercolor markers, and spread the pigment with a water brush. I tried to add layers of color, letting each layer dry before adding another layer.
After my background was all colored in, I used the hexagon dies from ModaScrap to die cut portions of the background. I made sure to use different sizes of hexagons. Then, I arranged the hexagons on my card front. The largest hexagon is popped up with foam adhesive.
I then added a simple sentiment using the Friends stamp set from ModaScrap. I stamped and embossed the word “friend” on vellum with gold embossing powder, and then fussy cut it out. I added the “you make me smile” sentiment underneath.
To finish this card, I added some of the gorgeous pearl embellishments with my embellishment pen.
